Policies
Identification
All adult passengers must provide a VALID and current government issued photo ID at check in such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. We do not accept pictures of IDs or expired IDs.
Credit Cards
The credit card used for booking the tour must be presented at check in of your tour. This card MUST match the ID of one of the travelers. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. If you used a credit card of someone not present. you will not fly.
Weather
The pilots and crew of Heli Chicago will determine if your flight departs or does not depart because of weather. WE make that determination. Should we decide that the weather is unfit for flight, we will offer to reschedule your tour first, and if you are unable to do so, we will offer a refund for you.
Flight Routes
Flight routes are subject to change based upon weather conditions, FAA regulations, and any other reason the pilot determines to be necessary. On Chicago Cubs home game days, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) are posted and we cannot fly near wrigley field. In this case wrigley field will be omitted from the tour.
Late arrivals / No shows
Please be on time for your scheduled flight. On time means 15 minutes before your schedled flight time. We cannot accept late arrivals. we book our flights back to back and will not cut into someone elses expereince because you were not on time. in this case you will be charged a $100 reschedule fee.
No shows will be charged the full amount of the tour and not be rescheduled.
Passenger responsibilty
While passengers onboard our helicopter are our valued customers, we also are in charge of your safety. It is important to remember if you are given instructions from your pilot, this is from our expertise and our responsibility to keep the environment safe. We expect all passengers to abide by our guidelines.
